The Banana Ball Championship League was announced at the Banana Ball World Tour City Draft on October 3rd, 2024 as the first ever professional Banana Ball League.

The league will start in 2026 with six teams including the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, and two new teams to be announced in 2025.

Each team in the BBCL will play a 60-game schedule beginning in April of 2026 and culminating with the Banana Bowl Championship in October.
