 What is a Banana Ball Camp?

The most entertaining team in the world puts on the most entertaining baseball camp in the world. These camps are perfect for your future Banana Ball boys and girls ages six to twelve. Campers will learn the ins and outs of the sport that is taking the world by storm. Not only will you get to learn all the rules of what makes this sport so great, but you will also partake in player dances taught by our first base dancing coach, and get used to living outside of your comfort zone! Campers will compete all camp long to win prizes for awards including Banana baller of the week, best dressed, most entertaining, and much more. You can bet on plenty of loud music, dancing, and instruction from the best Banana Ball players to ever do it. These camps are perfect for your future Banana Baller boys and girls!

These camps are put on and ran by the twin princes of Bananaland, Kyle Luigs and Bill LeRoy. Kyle and Bill are entering year number eight with the organization, and they know what it means to be a Banana Baller. Feel free to look them up on social media and see all their trick plays and dance moves to know exactly what you’re getting yourself into! These two are dedicated to making baseball fun for youth and are running the camp they always dreamt of going to when they were growing up. They will be joined by other Banana Ball players, to provide hands-on instruction from the players they idolize online! @kyle.luigs @bill_leroy

What to expect at a banana ball camp

 

  • Alongside the Twin Princes of Bananaland, players from all four Banana Ball teams will help coach campers through the duration of the camp

  • Campers will compete to win prizes for awards such as Banana Baller of The Week, Best Dressed, Most Entertaining, and more. You can bet on plenty of loud music, dancing, and instruction from the best Banana Ball players to ever do it. 

  • Trick plays, lots of dancing, and a whole lot of fun!

What time is camp?
  • Two day camps will run from 9:00am to 1:00pm, with camp check in starting 30 minutes before the start of camp. 
Where is registration?

At the front gate at the front of the stadium.

Can parents stay and watch?

Yes, parents are encouraged to sit anywhere in the stadium and join in on all the fun, or simply just drop off and pick up. 

What does my camper need to bring?

All of the baseball or softball equipment you have, we also have bats and gloves that we can lend out for the entirety of camp. Make sure to bring a water bottle for the water refill stations!

What should my camper wear to camp?

While your typical baseball uniform and pants will do just fine, we encourage all of our campers to show up in crazy costumes, hats, and anything else they can think of since we will be giving out best dressed awards! 

 

My camper has food allergies, what do I need to do?

No food will be given out at camp. However we ask that parents list the camper’s allergies (if any) when initially registering for camp. 

Where is camp held?

Banana Ball camps are held at Grayson Stadium – 1401 E Victory Drive Savannah, GA – unless otherwise stated! 

Will the merchandise stand be open?

Yes, the merchandise stand is open from 9am-5pm every weekday!

 

Are there age requirements for the campers?

Campers must be between the ages of 6-12!

Will tickets for games be included with purchase of camp?

Tickets for games are NOT included with camps. If you would like chances to go to a game either before or after you attend camp with us, your best bet is to join this list!
