You’ll thrive in this role if you’re exceptionally organized, detail oriented, and are always looking for the next thing to complete!
As part of the Bananas Merchandise Team, you’ll be directly responsible for impacting thousands of Bananas Fans from all over the world!
While your primary focus will be on the retail side of our merchandise operation, you’ll also learn the process for how we predict inventory numbers for our various retail locations and tour stops.
You’ll also play a major role in making sure fans who attend the World Tour games have a great retail experience when we’re on the road! You’ll have your hand in the logistics of planning and packing for traveling to new cities and in the set-up and execution of retail on location.
Some of the other aspects of this role include actively finding solutions for fans to problems they may have encountered, learning inventory control systems, leading retail staff, and executing shipping procedures.
Through each of these activities, it will be your responsibility to ensure that all Bananas Fans purchasing merchandise online or visiting the Banana Stand have a Fans First Experience from start to finish.
The intern in this role will have the opportunity to travel to some World Tour events to execute merchandise operations and to lead teammates at one of the merchandise stations.

Stadium operations & concessions are a massive part of fan experience at Grayson Stadium, to say the least! At Bananas home games, more than 5,000 fans have access to our Historic Venue and All-You-Can-Eat concessions. Our operations team makes magic happen in our limited, but well-loved space!
As an intern in this department, you’ll have a hands-on experience leading and working alongside our amazing group of gameday teammates. You will also help prepare the ballpark for games and events, maintain and enhance our historic stadium, introduce wacky and creative food and drink options, and oversee inventory management and POS operations.
There are a broad range of responsibilities that fall under our operations and concessions departments; but ultimately, you’d be responsible for ensuring an amazing fan experience within the walls of our ballpark through the impact of our concessions and the facility itself.
The intern in this role will have the opportunity to attend some of the World Tour events to help our merchandise or ticketing team with day-of logistics.

As a Digital Marketing Intern with Fans First Entertainment, you’ll be responsible for working alongside a team of different, fun, and hungry individuals to create unforgettable content for fans and staff that leaves a long-lasting impression!
You’ll assist the Marketing team with producing content to be seen around the stadium, on social media, emails, and the team websites. We’ll also lean on you to help create graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
From a social media standpoint, your responsibilities will include contributing new ideas, posting & reviewing content, and engaging with fans in a positive way!
During this internship, you’ll learn about the strategies used in our unique approach to getting attention and doing things differently.

Working withing Baseball Operations, you’ll get to see firsthand what happens behind the scenes specifically within the baseball program. This internship will include both physical and administrative tasks as they relate to assisting coaching staff with travel lists, clubhouse cleanliness, field set-up, and equipment organization.
Additionally, you may serve as a liaison between other front office staff and members of the baseball teams to help coordinate things like availability, travel lists, and to request and document reimbursements.
The intern in this role will travel to some World Tour events to manage load and unloads of baseball equipment and supplies and help oversee clubhouse operations.

Entertainment & Promotions:
As the Entertainment Intern, you’ll work directly alongside Director of Entertainment in the execution of all promotions throughout the season! In doing this, you’ll play a direct role in providing the best entertainment possible to all fans that attend Bananas games and events.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in the set-up and maintenance of promotions, coordination of all fan experience, contestants, and miscellaneous activity required to execute the promotion successfully. In addition, the promotions intern will be responsible for cleanup of all promotion materials used during each game.
This role will include working alongside Bananas Coaching staff, players, and cast to ensure the right people are in the right places at the right time! You’ll also be the main point of contact for fans participating in promotions including Banana Baby, Home Run Hitter, and National Anthem Singers.
The intern in this role will have the opportunity to travel to most World Tour events to put on the Best Show in Sports!
You’ll thrive in this position if you are exceptionally organized, complete tasks urgently and efficiently, pride yourself on maintaining high standards of excellence, and have a particular passion for the foster care community.
As an intern with Bananas Foster, you will play a key role in the programs of our nonprofit, primarily focused on how we Celebrate, Educate, and Inspire within the foster care community. In this position you will see firsthand what it takes to operate programs within a nonprofit organization.
This internship is hands-on, and you’ll be expected to help cultivate and maintain relationships with foster families, community outreach, and additional nonprofits to support collaboration and grow the organization. You will be responsible for representing the organization at events, meetings, and on Game Days to promote awareness of our mission and inspire others to get involved.
The intern in this role will travel to some World Tour events to engage with our Bananas Foster Families (BFFs) and help create Fans First Experiences for their family.
You’ll thrive in this position if you are exceptionally organized, complete tasks urgently and efficiently, pride yourself on maintaining high standards of excellence, and have a particular passion for the foster care community.
You’ll thrive in this position if you love being the designated vacay planner amongst your friends, enjoying being the caring and empathetic friend, and have a glass-half-full mentality when it comes to adversity.
As a Tour Travel & Accommodations Logistics intern, you’ll learn first-hand what it takes to get this show on the road! Travelling with over 150 teammates and cast members is quite the undertaking, never mind all of the supplies, equipment, and merchandise that need to make it to all of the locations as well!
In this internship, you will work hand-in-hand with our logistics team to lead organized trips across the country. These trips happen with careful planning, resourcing, and execution both on the road and at homebase.
This role will have both physical labor-intensive aspects, as well as elements that require critical thinking skills. You will thrive in this position if you’re able to do both at the same time!
The intern in this role will have the opportunity to travel to select World Tour events and will aid in the operational travel plans for the entire group.
You’ll thrive in this position if you love engaging with others, can confidently take initiative in problem-solving and routine responsibilities, and are always ready to jump into a dance party even after being on your feet the whole day.
In this role, you’ll learn directly from the Bananas Ticket Department and will help with each touch point of the ticket experience. We believe the ticket experience is so much more than a moment of purchase, but rather is an experience beginning before a ticket order is confirmed and extending further than getting your tickets in hand.
Your primary responsibility will be to understand all things Bananas tickets and to make a Fans First Impression on all fans you connect with. This will require you to be able to confidently navigate basic computer programs as well as being able to learn our ticketing platform and our back-end processes.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the set-up, clean-up, and all the fun things in between for designated fan areas at the ballparks. This will require physical contributions from you on game days. There will be a lot of time spent on your feet helping set-up tents, tables, and other props.
During this internship, you will be to become an expert in how we take care of fans to make a Fans First Impression on all fans you connect with. During this internship, you will find opportunities to go above and beyond for fans and will be able to help execute your ideas.
Interns who have held this position in the past have been able to build amazing relationships with the fans they interact with, and we expect interns of the future to continue to do the same. In this internship, we will encourage you to take full advantage of your freedom to “listen carefully and respond creatively.”

As a Photography Intern with Fans First Entertainment, you’ll be right in the middle of all of the wild and crazy things we do! You’ll be responsible for working alongside a team of different, fun, and hungry individuals to capture unforgettable moments for our teams, staff, fans, and more!
Passion and experience in photography and content creation will help propel you to an influential part of growing the Bananas presence all over the world.

The intern in this role will have the opportunity to travel to most World Tour events to capture photos and create content of all our wild shenanigans!

The accomplished individual deemed worthy to join our Phinance ranks will be one of high moral character who believes ideas are sacrosanct, who has a great sense of humor, and who possesses an innate charismatic approach to all things finance.
This economically-minded sentry will be tasked with assisting their illustrious department with the energy of a thousand Fans First suns; upholding the highest standard by doing fewer things better in manner befitting the Savannah Bananas. They are constantly curious and relentlessly resourceful because they know that everything speaks when it comes to internal and external client service, even when no one is watching.
Lastly, they are so fanatical about the Fan that they are willing to ditch the status quo to embody the essence of the long game in an unusual and entertaining way to always plus the Fan experience. In this internship, you will be responsible for myriad tasks including, but not limited to, point-of-sale (POS) opening/closing/troubleshooting, regular and ad-hoc project assignments, and periodic report generation.
Additionally, you may spend time analyzing facts and figures from multiple data rich sources and software systems to help translate our language of numbers into relatable parables that kindly help those outside Phinace understand how their worlds impact ours. You will also be expected to gain an appreciation for accrual-based accounting as it relates to our company’s accounts payables, accounts receivables, and other timing-related elements within the accounting function.
This role will primarily assist in the execution of home games in Savannah, however the intern in this role will have the opportunity to travel to some World Tour events to assist the Merchandise team with their road game merch operation.

Working within Baseball Operations, you’ll get to see firsthand what happens behind the scenes specifically within the baseball program. This internship will include both physical and administrative tasks as they relate to assisting coaching staff with travel lists, clubhouse cleanliness, field set-up, and equipment organization.
Additionally, you may be responsible for keeping up with Banana Ball statistics during our events. Being able to accurately record what happens and when during our games plays an integral part in developing this sport. Your attention to detail and understanding of the game and the metrics will be crucial for your success in this role.
The intern in this role will have the opportunity to travel to some World Tour events to manage load and unloads of baseball equipment and supplies and to help oversee the clubhouse operations.
You’ll thrive in this position if you love seeking out a new story to share, you are exceptionally organized and complete tasks urgently and efficiently, and you have experience in journalistic writing.
As a Media Relations Intern with Fans First Entertainment, you’ll be instrumental in telling stories from Bananaland! You’ll be responsible for working alongside a team of different, fun, and hungry individuals to capture unforgettable moments for our fans, players, and coaches.
As part of this role, you will actively seek out creative stories that we can tell through a variety of mediums, including written copy, video content, or pitching ideas to other media outlets.
Additionally, you’ll play a part in providing a world-class experience to representatives from other media outlets when they come to capture and tell our stories. From meeting them upon their arrival at our events, to helping schedule out who they will be interviewing, you’ll be their go-to person while on site and in the days/weeks leading up to the event.
While your organization and hospitality skills will aid you in developing relationships with other media personnel, a passion for and experience in writing and content creation will help propel you to be an influential part of growing the Bananas presence all over the world.

You’ll thrive in this position if you are happier behind the camera than in front, you’re a creative machine with a great sense of humor, and you have experience editing high-quality videos.
As a Video Production Intern with the Savannah Bananas, you’ll be right in the middle of all of the wild and crazy things we do! From the first mention of an idea all the way through editing the perfect video to show the world, you’ll be part of the things that drive the most attention we receive.
Passion and experience in photography, film, story-telling, and content creation will help propel you to an influential part of growing the Bananas presence all over the world. Additionally, we move fast! This working environment will push you to produce high-quality content on tight deadlines and hone your production skills.

The intern in this role will have the opportunity to travel to most World Tour events to capture footage and create content of all our wild shenanigans!
You’ll thrive in this position if you love interacting with people, are incredibly organized in your communications skills, and have a keen eye for detail.
The individual chosen to work with our People team will help coordinate all part-time teammates working Bananas events. This will include learning scheduling techniques, communication strategies, and how to make each individual feel valued for their specific impact on Bananas Fans.
You will be responsible for greeting teammates when they arrive for shifts, ensuring they’re up-to-date on the most relevant information regarding game operations or fan experiences for that event. Additionally, you’ll oversee shifting teammates to new roles throughout the game as fans needs change and provide a great last impression for teammates as they leave after the event.
The intern in this role will travel to some World Tour events to coordinate local game day workers and volunteers.
Being a Bananas intern in the Summer of 2021 was one of my wildest dreams come true! The front office staff is one of the most caring and inviting group of people I have ever met. They made me feel right at home and so loved all summer! It is truly one big, yellow family. I am forever thankful for that summer, the people I worked with, and the amazing fans who made each game electric!

Our amazing interns are a massive part of why the Bananas organization is able to do what we do.
Throughout the course of an internship with the Bananas, you’ll learn the ins and outs of your department and how all of our departments work together to create the most Fans First experience in the world.
As a Bananas intern you’ll be an integral part of our operation taking ownership of projects and be encouraged to bring your ideas to life! In all internship roles, you will have the opportunity to impact Bananas fans from across the globe through your job responsibilities and activities.
All Bananas internships are in person located in Savannah, GA. While interns will receive a small monthly stipend to help with expenses, interns are responsible for their own housing and travel accommodations to Savannah.
